It's simple. I scalp slow moving, high quality, big cap companies at places of support. I'll even short 'em at areas of resistance every now and then.

I also follow WallStJesus - he's constantly looking for and monitoring large & unusual option activity. Many times, the "smart" money will come in and make bullish bets by purchasing large amounts of calls. This activity will cause the underlying security, or the stock, to move immediately. Lots of times I use this info (IF and only IF I like the chart) to buy and ride up a quarter, 50 cents or even a buck before selling. I have found once you get that initial push, selling and booking the profit has been a very smart play. Now please know... I am not buying every alert he puts out there. If the stock is some biotech or other high beta name... I take a pass. If I'm not totally comfortable with the chart or technical set-up... I take a pass.

This simple strategy has changed the game for me... well that and cutting losses VERY small - which I do often. I'm not scared to take a small loss... and you shouldn't be either. If you are - you won't make it.

Anyway, there's more details I could get into, but that's the gist of it. If you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them (TheOptionRider@gmail.com). This is NOT a perfect system, but it fits my personality and I'm comfortable with it. Please know this type of trading is not for everyone, and it may not be for you.
