I set up three new plays with three stocks I've never traded, until today.
First SLB... I took a bearish position selling the August 115/120 call spread. In total I collected $175 of premium on 1 contract. Looking at the chart the stock has had a big run up, but over the last week or so it's been rolling over. The company reports next Friday so that could jack up my play. However, if we get a move up I'll simply roll out the position.
Next up TSLA... This morning I played the weekly 225/227.50 credit call spread. I collected $144 in premium on 2 contracts. My thought is the weakness we've seen in this name will continue. And since I'm playing a weekly, I don't have to worry about earnings. TLSA doesn't report until the beginning of August.
Lastly NDX... I played a weekly in this one as well. I set up a 3930/3935 credit call spread, collecting $115 of premium on just 1 contract.
